Could I please have the correct part number for this bush here on my Citroen C5:

There seem to be lots of versions online, and I was not sure which was right for my particular model...

Unless I'm missing something i cant see it listed as a separate part from Citroen?

Ahuh... that might be the case... I never thought of that.

I bet they want you to buy the whole pivot arm...

It is not sold separately, but available commonly from online suppliers.

My local sourced a 'reinforced' one for under a £10 from their regular parts supplier (John Morgan IIRC).

Yes I only paid £10 inc VAT... so I bought three just in case I break one.

Weird how Citroen think such as easy to replace part is not servicable...

I actually replaced both in my car just last month,
it is a major component in terms of the car feel, mine were completely gone, so after the replacement, the car felt very good..

Note: when visually inspecting the area on the car, it seems like it is not the correct part;
the new part seems very small to the eye, in comparison to it's position on the car, but that is just because of the housing around the part, rest assured it is correct.

in order to exctact the old part, you can get some specilized tool, or just do what my mechanic did.. brute force the old part of of there..

The car is a little clonky at the front on some road surfaces, so I am hoping this cures it!

If I had more time I think I would just replace all the bushes as a preventative measure. I think that's something I would like to do; along with cleaning up and treating all the suspension arms/rods etc. that have corroded.

Yeah, in terms of rust, I'm lucky as I live in a less humid country, in comparision to the UK,
but unlucky in terms of Xantia's notorious hydraulic return pipes which dry out and turn to plastic in just 2 summer's

My car is still wobly on standard suspension, so I drive it constantly in sport mode,
but now it's almost definetly just about replacing all the spheres which I got with the car, it's unknown if and when any of them were replaced in the past..

But yeah, I immidietly felt better after replacing that particular bush, hope that you do to..
I'm also the kind of guy who like to take some preventative measures, and renew parts that I no longer trust
the dead bushes came with the car when I bought it and I didn't know what was wrong, since it's my first time getting familiar with the X7
