Hello. For the past several months, I've had ongoing issues with my car's heating system. It never really turned off, and there was always this background sound of a fan running. Strangely, when I turned on other functions, like the wipers, the fan speed seemed to change. I asked my garage to check it during a service, but they assured me everything was fine...I suspect they didn't look at it.
However, just yesterday it stopped completely, accompanied by a faint burning smell. Thankfully, the smell has since disappeared.
While I suspect I might need a new fan, I'd appreciate any advice or insights. Could it be something else?
