C3 gearbox

Can anyone tell me if this gearbox is the same box as the dreadful semsodrive that had on a c2 many moons ago. Its a screenshot of a car for sale locally for not a lot and I'm considering buying it for a dog transporter and not really care about said dog ruining it with wet fur and feet.
Don't know much about it only that it's a 63 plate.

Your pic has got a bit confused!!

What age? It's probably an EGS semi auto box, better than the original senso drive, but not much...

I always said that I would never buy another sensodrive. Its done 93000 miles, no history mentioned. I know I'm on my 3rd vag dsg box and they have all been good, although my first one is broken now but the thing has done over 60k since I sold it and been thrashed by many drivers and never serviced since I owned it

Sure that's an EGS. At 93k don't buy it unless it's already had a clutch....

I viewed it last night and it took about 10 seconds to decibe that it's not for me. No service history at all and current owner only owned it 2 months. I will just have to continue using the relay to take the dog out
