ABS/ESP wiring - C4GP

Unread post by fuel__2001 »

Hi

Been lurking around here for a while and found it a real source of information and help, but kinda stuck and need a bit of help on my Grand Picasso 2010 manual 1.6HDi

Had trouble with a comms fault on the ABS module, usual abs/esp & service light on the dash.
So far ive traced to the ABS wiring, did some probing with a multimeter and lack of a 12v supply on pin 35 on the ABS module - applied a direct 12v feed to pin 35 on the ABS module and the fault goes away, so far so good.

Just trying to trace this 12v feed wire (through spaghetti wiring hell), some of the ABS wiring schematics I've found online seem to track it back to the to pin 10 on the black connector on the BSI, but not 100% sure thats correct for my vehicle?

Any help with the correct wiring diagram would really help get me out of a hole

Pin 35 on the ESP Module (7842U) is the Remote control wake-up information to the BSI.

What actual fault codes are you getting - that would be better to provide some pointers.

The ABS module wasn't communicating so no codes on the tool we were using, other than the dash light warnings.
Did some multimeter probing/test lamp of the ABS connector and which located lack of 12v on pin 35

Soon as we fed 12v down pin 35 the scan tool was able to communicate with the ABS module.
