VIN number breakdown/information please

Hi everybody
Citroen C15 diesel van. 1992 RHD.

I apologise if this question has been asked previously but I have looked all over the site and cannot find the information.

Will the VIN number on my vehicle indicate the load carrying capacity of the vehicle and if so is there a link that anybody on the site can point me to please?

Basically the van was available as a 600kg and a 765kg carrying capacity. I can find the correct tyres for 600kg but if it is the 765kg model only the absolute crappiest tyres in the world seem to be available. Brands like Turkish made 'Petlas' tyres which get truly awful reviews.

I am desperate to find out which version my van is.

Any help very much appreciated and have a great weekend everybody.

Normally this sort of info would be on the V5 UK registration document, but I guess you don't have that in France.

The load capacity should be on the Carte Grise. I would also expect it to be on an ID tag on the vehicle (particularly a commercial vehicle).
