Changed the accumulator spehere on my Xantia at the week end. That was soo easy[:D]
When car was up on ramps (£2 from car booty on Monday[:D]) I noticed the unit the Hydractive sphere connects to was very wet with what I assume is LHM fluid. Should I worry?
Guess it is now time to tackle the clonking sound now.

Check the seal which you DID (??) replace with the accumulator sphere. I would suggest that this is perhaps rather perished, and was leaking.
Clean up the area, and monitor it over the next few days to trace the highest trace of the leak, this will then point to the source, although my money is on the original accumulator seal being perished.
