Citroen C5 X3 Cluster Panel Dead

Hello, I have Citroen C5 Mk2 (X3) 2004 year that gave me big problem today. I tried to find solution, but couldn't.

Here what I did:
In order to fix PDC on this car I tried to replace PDC module with module from Peugeot 607 which differs only with lack of one socket for front sensors. I replaced it with battery connected and when I turned on the car I got errors from airbags / belt tensioners, depolution system, parking sensors and speed control with additional cluster panel being totally dead (no lights, no rpms, nothing) and not working climate control panel. I've put back the original PDC module, but error still occurs. Now I have only airgbags errors and still dead cluster + climate control panel. I wasn't doing anything else.

I can start the car and go for a drive with no problem, but cluster panel is dead with climate control panel and there is airbag error. I have no idea what I can do to fix this problem. Tried to replace fuses that are responsible for instrument panel, but this is not working and fuses are fine.

What I can do to fix this problem?

It was fuse after all. Previously I replaced the wrong one and thought it is not the problem. Then I checked diagram again and was like 'did I got the right one for sure?' - it came out that I checked F12 instead F14 because I've found Mk2 2007 diagram instead of Mk2 2004.

I replaced the blown one and everything is working. My mind was really blown today because of this. Now I'm relieved. Thanks for the advices.

Not a lot - connecting incorrect parts not designed for your car will have consequences. You can try fitting the original unit back and then try a BSI Reset / Battery Disconnect / Reconnect Procedure

Unfortunately I can't offer any advice short of a diagnostic with Lexia and see what that comes up with.

If this is a 2004 model surely its still a mk1?
I’d be amazed if this wasnt just a blown fuse, you really need to check all of them, not just the ones you think might be related. If i was to take a guess here i’d say you have lost your VAN+ supply.
Really need the VIN to get a look at wiring diagram & ID for sure if its a mk1 or mk2 as they are both very different electrically. With the wiring diagram we can check if the instrument panel is getting its power supplies.

As i said, your story had blown VAN+ fuse written all over it.
