Hi, and :welc: to the Forum. I cannot personally help you, as I have no Renault knowledge, but somebody else may be able to help.

Can you explain more about how it's going to the pump but not going out? I'm assuming you've replaced the pump?.

Hi thanks for a speedy reply, I've not replaced the pump (Yet ) when I remove the fuel inlet pipe on pump and put it into a bottle then turn the engine over the bottle starts to fill , when I reconnect the fuel pipe and turn the engine over to bleed the system nothing comes out of the pump even when I assist by squeezing the black fuel bulb,

If I'm reading that right, your pump is sucking and pushing okay. Have you tried to block the 'push' pipe to see if pressure builds? Have you traced all pipes from pump to engine? No kinks etc, have you recently replaced the diesel filter?

My thought at this point goes back to a kinked piped, if not kinked then a blocked pipe that would restrict the flow off fuel. Don't blow down one end of the pipe to check, blow down both ends as blockages can work as a non return valve in one direction

You probably need to have the diagnostics read to ensure that the injection ECU is happy and the immobiliser unlocked.
It could still be something mechanical in the pump.
