Citroen DS3 interior heating became weaker

Unread post by Arktez »

Hello, today I noticed that the air coming out of the vents is not as hot as it used to be, for example last winter. Even at the maximum temperature (HI). Previously at 25 degrees, it was very warm. What could be the reason? If the heater matrix is the reason then where is it located? how to replace it?
Edit: Thermostat is working properly, cooling fluid is getting 90 degrees normally.

Possibly the warm air flap in the heater is stuck and not moving. If you have climate control it could be the flap motor at fault or its connection to the flap. If a manual system using a control knob then the cable to the flap could be checked. We had a 2010 C3 with manual air con and the warm air flap did not move as it should despite replacing the cable and in the end it needed a complete new heater.

Yes, i have climate control. If the warm air flap or flap motor were faulty, would there be no warm air at all? I have warm air coming from wents but it is around two times colder than the last winter. Previously, it was enough to set 25 degrees on the air conditioning panel to be very warm, and now even at the highest level it is not as before. I want to replace the heater matrix, maybe it is clogged, but i'm not 100% sure...
