Citroen c5 2.0 100kw 2009 hydraulic pump problem

Hello ! It happened to my car twice when driving through a hole, the 40A fuse blew, the second time it even started to smoke. The repairman took the pump off, opened the cover and the plate of the brushes has melted. Please help, what to do next, can I get this disc somewhere? The pump is 9654068680

I know of nowhere you can get specific parts for these - if the oil has seeped in and mixed with the carbon dust material from the brushes then it will have formed into a paste and then created a short. Sometimes cleaning these up can resolve the problem, but if any parts are damaged you may be looking at a replacement.

You can get these from Citroen directly - or use the part number you have to source a replacement.

Please ensure you match the part up exactly. It may also need configuring if you are replacing the whole unit as the suspension ECU is incorporated into the BHI at the top and will be configured to your vehicle engine type etc.
