Morning all,
Having just bought a 207SW 20009 diesel, is there anything special I should be doing to keep it running smoothly? The only other diesel I've owner was a Mazda 6 that wanted you to run it about 2,000rpm for +15mins every so often to burn out the DPF, but whilst I don't see any mention of that anywhere I am seeing people talking about additives (which I've never used). Better to ask the internet what I need to do now than get told by a mechanic in 6 month's time what I should have been doing(!).
Many thanks,
Andy

You don't need to do any of that rubbish. The systems used by PSA are passive and active, requiring no intervention from the owner. Eolys additive for the DPF assisted generation is topped up about 70k miles by a dealer or competent mechanic.
The only thing you need to ensure is that you aren't doing 'nipping down to the corner shop' mileage, for which a petrol engine is better suited.

Ideal!
No danger of local mileage. I've got working legs, a few bikes & my wife's petrol Venga for nearby things - I've picked this up specifically for a new job that's going to have me commuting 20 miles each way, +90% on motorways.
