2015 c4 grand picasso alarm
Hi all, I have the usual alarm going off when I lock the car. I am going to pull the alarm siren and check connection and note part number when I locate it. ( I believe its under scuttle). Is a new siren plug and play. or do they need coding. Many thanks

Welcome along
I'd have thought its unlikely to be the siren, given that it is actually working! If you can get it on Diagbox, then you can see what is setting the alarm off - internal sensors or the bonnet sensors are favourite; you can eliminate the interior sensors by pressing the cancel button before you set the alarm.

There is a Technical Bulleting covering the triggering of the alarm when locking with the remote control fob on this vehicle.
The origin is the BSI software and requires an update. So it may be worth checking that with your local dealer first before replacing parts unnecessarily.
