My MOT man says the tubes that come out the floor where the handbrake cables come out underneath the car should be solid and not split like they are. He wants them welded up. As far as i can see the way the adjuster runs in them they can be nothing but split to allow correct movement of adjuster? I think if i remember right my old AX GT's tubes were split like this also. Am i making sense?
Can anyone confirm what is right for me?
