Peugeot suspension springs (Parts).

I’m looking to see what make Peugeot use for their suspension springs. I have replaced the spring & top mount but still getting a spring noise when turning.

A friend of mine thinks it’s KILN but don’t think that’s correct.

Unless explicitly mentioned with the part description, PSA do not specify the manufacturer and OEM parts will be Citroen-badged and packaged.

Yeah I thought that. I replaced the springs with a sumax one but even though the top mount is completely tight it’s making the lovely spring doink noise when turning.

As you know staff only provide official numbers for official parts - it's like a mine field out there with aftermarket and copy parts - so there's no guarantee on the quality or fitment for these - and it is common for the incorrect parts to be supplied or their database being incorrect so you get the wrong one for your vehicle - or it just isn't up to standard.

Of course it could be down to the fitter!

If the top is fitted correctly and sitting well I would check that the bottom is sitting correctly.
