306 turbodenzil

does anyone know if the engine from the 406 turbo diesel is the same as the one in the 306 turbodiesel? this particular one has the immobiliser on the pump. Ta.

Depends what 406 you have?
There was the 1.9 turbo diesel, a 2.1 turbo diesel & then a 90 bhp HDI, 110 HDI & 136 HDI.
306s had a 1.9, 1.9 with a turbo or the 90 BHP HDI

the 406 1.9 td engine is the same as the xantia 1.9 td, the 306 engines have the bx type setup and the fuel pump can be swaped
