Difference between 1.5bluehdi 75 100 130

Unread post by peugeot01 »

Hi,

What are the differences between the 1.5Bluehdi 75hp 100hp 130hp?

Is it only the ecu tune or is there different hardware?

Also are all the ecus of the three power outputs the same?

thanks :-D

I do not know the hardware/software differences.
We have a 2019 Peugeot 308sw with the 1.5 hdi 130 hp engine and whilst it is ok, it could do with more power and on long motorway runs the fuel consumption is lower than I would have expected. It would be better with a 2.0 hdi but these have not been available for a few years. It will give around 55 mpg when our previous C4 1.6 hdi would give around 65 mpg on the same 180 mile run between Lincoln and the Lake District.

Yes, at higher speeds the 1.5bluehdi is better under 60mph. After that speed, the fuel consumption just goes up.

The 2.0hdi is so good that the fuel consumption goes down after 60mph

DV5120 PS (88 kW; 118 hp)Turbo-Diesel 8-valve
