Numerous issues...

Hi all,
My car has been working fine but on setting off for holiday and bluetooth audio, front heaters and cruise control have all stopped working. Cruise works intermittently but sometimes stops when in use, bluetooth works on calls but no sound on music and heaters rear works fine but not front. Is there a fuse/ relay they have in common? Im a reasonably hands on female so willing to have a go at fixing if I know where to start before bothering my mechanic friend.

Basically you need a diagnostic done with a professional level tool to ascertain what the fault codes are.

Some engine / fuel related issues will cause the engine ECU to cut the cruise control function, so without knowing the fault codes, we can't advise as to what the issues may be. Until you have done this everything will be guesswork. Once you have had the car diagnosed, pop up the fault codes with the VIN.

These are likely to be totally unrelated issues, so you may have several faults.

Thank you. Would a standard obd2 scanner work or should I see if my mechanic mate can bring his laptop home from work? Also do the front and rear heating systems share the same heater motors?
I've fixed the bluetooth issue. I checked the fuse which was ok deleted the bluetooth from phone and the car, which didn't work so disconnected the car battery then reconnected and issue resolved so one down 2 to go.

I've asked for your VIN - without this I don't have a crystal ball to see the model and options fitted to your specific vehicle regarding the heater system.
