Whats wrong with Ami's ? I've got an acadiane sitting on an ami super chassis with a GS 1130 engine :-) My mate has an ami super and another an ami 8. Citroen made good stuff, in my opinion its the newer cars that have lost their way. (now watch the backlash)
I've owned Xantia, BX, AX, GS/A, 2CV,CX, Dyane, H-van, Acadiane, Visa. And have been happy with all of them.

Eh? Alfa? All the Ami Supers I've seen have a Citroen flat four (GS) engine, or have had it changed to a GSA 1299cc flat four.
Looks like a perfectly normal Ami to me, Jon, right? Although from 'not what it seems' it probably does have a 1299 lump

Mike,
One Ami super has been doing the rounds of 2CV club members, Geoff Archer had it (one time mod-con registrtar) I think Pete Sparrow built it many a moon ago, Its currently yellow with flames down It (or was) And has been very lowered, special turned arms, and is powered by a twin carb alfa 1500 boxer engine. Very fast, very scary and i want it :-0
