Activate reverse camera SMEG+ error

I have install the original rear camera on my 308 t9 from '15. Wires were already in the trunk so just plug n play.
I tried to set camera to active and that passed succesfully but not for the SMEG+
I got error 415 in diagbox while put video signal on.
Bsi and other ecus were not any problem, only smeg. Someone can help me?

The wiring may be there but isn't whichever ECU involved different?

Yes, the ECUs are different, but not only that, the SMEG units themselves had multiple versions depending on options and it has to be a version that supports a rear camera system.

So you think i got a wrong ecu? And which one should that be?
I was at peugeot garage last week and they told me because i had GT model, the rear camera should be no problem. They said GT model is full of options and is prepared for these types of options. So now im confused.

Its done! Had to have 3 different parameters to change. With one i could only enter with PSA token..amazing, got a good working camera now.

actually dont see any moving guidelines when steering... dont know if that is standard,otherwise i have to check of there is another parameter.

Yes that is what he has to be. The camera video is mirrored.

Hello, the same situation applies to my vehicle. There is a 2014 308 Allure camera socket. I bought the original camera and installed it, but it did not work. Even though we selected the option in the image and saved it, it did not work. Can you help us with other options we should pay attention to?

I think the question has been answered - if the unit does not support a rear camera, no changing of parameters will make it work!
