307SW Hdi Rear Disc/Hub Nut Torque?

Unread post by Davre1 »

My 2008 307SW Hdi 110 has 30mm diameter stub axle, please can someone advise correct torque setting for rear disc nut which is M28 (Peugeot 373932) and requires 36mm Spanner ? Thanks

I am coming to the conclusion its 300Nm but if anyone can confirm that would be great 👍

Is this the one that's actually 35mm socket size? In which case effin tight.

When undoing those in the past I've had to use my 2ft breaker bar with a 4ft length of gas pipe slipped over to extend the length. And even them I've had to lean on the pipe with determination.

Many thanks for confirming Marc 👍
Paul - that's exactly how I removed the nuts, interesting you mention 35mm socket size, I tried 35mm and 36mm. Decided to use 35mm when trying to loosen nut, but I had to thump it onto the nut with a mallet which gave a secure fit but scored the nut quite badly. Thinking of using 36mm socket when replacing the disc using a new nut but that does feel a little loose 🤔
