cooling relay socket corroded - belingo multispace

Hi,

The socket for one of the cooling fan relays is corroded and shorting out the relay. I have removed the relay and only the slow fan is working now.
1. Is there a way to clean away the corrosion? or
2. Can the socket be replaced or
2a. do all the sockets have to be replaced or
2b Do I have to buy the whole fan unit?
3. Is this something a layman could do?
