Nemo 1.3 hdi no boost?

Hi Guys

Thanks for letting me join.
I bought the nemo a few months ago and it drove fine, it intermittently wouldn't boost which seemed to be more when it was cold, once it got up to temperature it would be fine. Did diagnostics and it showed MAP sensor fault, changed this but still the same but it now wont boost at all. Took it to a mechanic and he said it was bad turbo 100%. Changed turbo with a used unit but still the same, changed boost pressure solenoid still the same. When you start the engine you can see the actuator move and when you switch of after a few seconds the actuator moves back. I have searched hi and low for leaks using soapy water but can't find anything, is there a common place for leaks? Can anyone shed any light? Many thanks, Steve

That sounds rather like the symptoms of a failing or dirty MAF sensor. Have you investigated that?
Try cleaning it with a MAF cleaner spray. I used carburettor cleaner on mine and it worked perfectly.
Be very careful with it though, they are very delicate, don't be tempted to tough anything inside, just spray the fine wires a few times then reassemble.
Be aware though that the Nemo is a Fiat in drag and the usual Lexia/Diagbox readers will need an additional cludge connecting in for them to read the codes correctly.

The MAF, and/or the wiring to it is bad.
