DS5 hybrid pause when starts moving

Unread post by Sunknown »

Hi. Need some help. Sometimes, when the car starts moving, suddenly makes the delay of 2-3 seconds with bump sound and then it drives normally. Accelerates linearly on the highway...

I'm assuming this is an automatic? If so, when was the auto gearbox oil last changed and what is the mileage?

DS5 Hybrid is only equipped with a robotic gearbox...The oil in the gearbox and the actuator has changed recently ... and adaptation has been made. I suspect that the problem is in the hybrid part of the car.

If you have any fault codes, pop them up along with the VIN. (please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff).

I can't check if there is anything specific without your VIN as I requested above.

Ok, so most of the faults relating to the gearbox issues have fault codes associated with them, but also 'Loss of traction - failure of the programming of the clutch biting point' may be an issue. I'm assuming you have a full CAN VCI and have communication with all ECUs?

If you are certain there are no faults then you may have to let any issue develop until there is a fault or a warning / message on the dash.

The Hybrid battery should be good for 10 years, but unfortunately any issue with the ECU or the battery requires the whole assembly to be replaced at great cost. Hopefully it is more simple and more to do with the piloted manual gearbox, but as I say, if no faults are being returned, then you'll have to let the fault develop.
