B1808 87 fault in the unlocking of the immobiliser by the ECU

Hello all,

Anybody experienced this fault because after clearing this fault later on it appears again.
It is in the BSI 2010

B1808 87 fault in the unlocking of the immobiliser by the ECU

Even with this code everything is working fine no problems whatsoever but still what is this fault and how to solve it ?? Anybody that can point me to the right direction to solve this ??

Basically it's a fault in the unlocking of the immobiliser by the engine management ECU. The engine ECU is not getting the request from the BSI to unlock the immobiliser.

This can happen if the battery has been disconnected without reinitialising the remotes. Try this:

BSI Reset / Battery Disconnect / Reconnect Procedure
