Hi.
I've been trying for a while to read this C3 1.4i 8v equipped with a Sagem s2pm-380 ECU
The only Sagem ecu offered to me for the C3 are:
-Kfv Sagem s2000pm1 (16v)
-kfv Sagem s2000pm2 (unspecified)
The two first give me a remark:
"The computer is not recognized, the validity of the information is not guaranteed"
I have access to read certain parameters
(gear engaged, lambda 1/2, temperature, rpm, degree of ignition...)
Certain parameters actually seem to read incorrectly or seem to be blocked
(as injector opening time in ms)
The data logging is recorded but once stopped it remains blocked "please waiting" and indicates the following message:
"Web page message minimized line exception:[error object].
For the rest (stft/ltft) lexia3 does not offer them to me, I have read everything and is the opposite that it was possible/impossible to obtain this information from lexia.
Other people is talking about using an obd2 elm 327 (standard)
To read the trim.
I don't know what to think about lexia3 is useful for testing actuators, reading a fault or erasing it, purging the ABS block...
But is it the right tool to read trim and/or do live data logging?
Thx

What version of Diagbox or Lexia are you using?

Lexia should work on a 2002 vehicle.
Do you have access to Diagbox? This might "see" the system differently even if all it does is to launch its own internal version of Lexia!

Hi
I have access to the software in the image above I will try to restart the installation from zero with each program.
And see if I have any better, did you have s2pm-380 in your list?
(the pack is called "before 2007" and diagnoses the Citroën Ax from 1993)
so theoretically it should work...
Thx

I don't have a dedicated Lexia system any more I'm afraid. I have moved over to Diagbox.
I agree it should work but...
What part of France BTW?

Hi
I installed another version of the lexia "cd"
Before 1.4.5
Now 1.4.13 (I'll try that tomorrow)
And an obd elm327 to see...
Apparently diagbox is useful for 2006 but I'll test that too...
I am from Lille (north)
THANKS

Thanks Wolfgang, that saved me looking for the Lexia versions contained in Diagbox for a comparison.

Hi
Well it is not so easy to update lexia I have to find the right way...
I installed the latest version sold with the device but it blocked access...
I had installed it a long time ago I had forgotten that it was not so simple.
I have to find the explanations to install and if I can put the latest version without blocking.
I used a low-end Obd bluetooth and it gives me the stft and ltft fine (which reveals a problem)
The car had a catalyst fault, I put a wedge under the rear o2 sensor after the catalyst just to see if that cleared the light (which works without solving the problem)
The idle is a little unstable and the consumption +/- Normal 7l/100km

The LEXIA included in the DB has other versions, each of which has been updated again and from 9.xx onwards the LEXIA/PLANET software has been changed from 16-bit to a 32-bit system.GiveMeABreak wrote: ↑06 Jul 2023, 09:43 Thanks Wolfgang, that saved me looking for the Lexia versions contained in Diagbox for a comparison.
With the original Solo LEXIA 3 sometimes more options are available than with the LEXIA included in the DB. But who still has such old vehicles.
With the old LEXIA348, for example, the fault record for a C5X7/2014 can be deleted - although for a C5X7 all ECUs are only recognised up to 2009/2010 - but the BSI can be reached.
Greetings Wolfgang

Re: Lexia 3 read s2pm-380 C3 1.4i 8v 2002
Hi
I updated lexia 345 to 347, now I have more models but it still doesn't read my C3 properly.
It only offers me the s2000pm2 calculator
Instead of my s2pm-380
I looked at the identifier that lexia sees and it does not correspond to my ecu which explains why it displays the message:
ecu not recognized information not guaranteed
The PSA ref is still there even on lexia and the ecu label (common to a lot of PSA ecu) 9642222380
On the other hand the other ref 9648293980 on the ecu
Lexia gave me ref. 9650825180
The date of writing is 1/1/2002
If anyone has any idea thanks

For the answer to " But who still has such old vehicles?"
Me... The 2002 C3 is my most "modern" vehicle...otherwise it's Ax 1993...boxer 1999....BMW 1999
