Car Workshop Manuals

Unread post by Rp0thejester »

I know alot of workshop manuals are online now like Haynes but I prefer the feel of paper. So my question is has anyone used a Peter Russek manual? If so is it accurate?

A long time ago but I haven't seen one for years, I think the Citroen GS manual was the first I used.
Haynes manuals seemed to be aplenty in the charity shop but now seem completely absent.
I've got three sitting here on my shelf a Peugeot 305 a BX and a Subaru 1600-1800.

Haynes do a C8 manual but online only. Peter Russek does a paper version. So in your opinion would it be as accurate as Haynes manual?

For Citroens up to about 2012 you can get the Citroen service box manuals on dvd through ebay to install on a pc. Then to get paper copies of jobs you want to do you can print out the relevant pages. After about this date it is on-line only which has to be paid for to gain access.

Well my Peter Russek manual has arrived, and it's definitely pocket sized, the information contained in it is unbelievable and written in a way that I can understand.
