Xantia Air con
Hi, I have owned my S2 Xantia for a couple of years, the Air con has never worked! is there anything that I can do to resurrect it ? or is it garage only ? cheers Terry.

Most likely it is low on refrigerant, you can check the terminals of the pressure switch on the drier, there are 2 pairs of contacts and one pair should be closed.
If there is no pressure in the system, there may be a leak, which could be too difficult to repair. The most common leaks are the condenser in front of the radiator, and the aluminium pipes that connect to the condenser. If these look corroded, it is bad news.
A refrigerant leak usually leaves an oily stain on the component, but that may have disappeared by now.
If you can't see any obvious damage, you need to take it to a shop to have it leak tested and (hopefully) refilled.
