Morning all
Could I possibly as for the wiring diagram for the rear lights on a 2012 Citroen relay, need to wire up a towbar.
Thank you so much
Darren

Re: Towbar Wiring
Thank you Marc
Is there a diagram that shows the actual wiring connectors and their locations?
Thanks

Re: Towbar Wiring
The connectors are in the rear lighting modules, so not sure what you are referring to.

Use the wiring codes on the insulating sleeves not the colours and the pin connections.

Rear parking sensors
Afternoon.
Could I possibly ask for the wiring diagrams and connection diagram for the rear parking sensors for a 2012 Relay.
Also, part numbers for the bumper cover, sensors and parking control unit.
Many thanks

Re: Towbar Wiring
This is the diagram for your vehicle WITH parking assistance, but your vehicle obviously did not have this system at factory.
Bear in mind if retrofitting, it will need configuring too in the BSI.

Also bear in mind there are NO options / parts coming up against your VIN for Parking Assistance. In order to show some options I have used generic parts for this model up to 2016. The parts also refer to rear camera as well as parking sensors, so I have no idea if your vehicle is designed for them / or whether the electronic architecture / BSI will support them:
(1) Obstacle Detection Unit, part: 1606903680, £463.18
(2) Obstacle Detection Sensor part: 1606904180, £166.38 (each)
(3) Sensor Support Ring, part: 6590Q9, £29.92 (each)
(4) Sensor Support, part: 6590R0, £42.17 (each)
(5) Obstacle Detection Audio Signal, part: 1608074880, £77.51

Re: Towbar Wiring
To be honest, you'd be better of fitting an aftermarket kit sold by Citroen (1610278880) for £309.41 inc. VAT. for this vehicle.
VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY
Boxer3 and Jumper3 (X2/50) up to chassis number 1988840, take the fitting instructions: 1610278880_Boxer3_Jumper3_version1.
Boxer3 and Jumper3 (X250_X250 FL2014) from chassis number 1988841, take the fitting instructions: 1610278880_Boxer3_Jumper3_version2.
A LED indicator part number 16 102 790 80 is available as an option (see related references)
CITROËN VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY
For Jumper3 vehicles (X2/50-X2/50 FL2014) a 5m extension part number 16 121 933 80 is available to connect the buzzer in the passenger compartment, as well as an extension part number 945253 to connect the LED indicator (refer to the related references).
DESCRIPTION
Depending on the fitting instructions, this new pack permits the fitting of flush sensors or conventional sensors (Set of shims). Innovative electronic equipment which offers a high level of comfort and safety.
Very practical on this type of vehicle, when parking this system detects obstacles at the rear of the vehicle.
Parking assistance assists the driver in performing his manoeuvres.
This parking assistance guarantees full detection of static or moving obstacles that are liable to be hit by the vehicle.
An audible signal of variable intermittence indicates the distance between the vehicle and the obstacle.
Comprises:
1 Active park control unit;
4 conventional sensors with set of shims (5°, 10°, 15°);
4 flush sensors with self-adhesive support kit;
1 supply harness;
1 bag of fixings (spacers, return springs, tie straps, terminals, etc.);
1 buzzer;
Instructions in 10 languages (FR, EN, IT, DE, NL, PT, ES, PL, CS, HU).
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
4 x 14 mm paintable sensors, for incorporating in the bumper.
An audible signal with variable intermittence indicates the distance between the vehicle and the obstacle. As the distance reduces the frequency quickens, until becoming a continuous sound inviting you to stop your manoeuvre.
The sensitivity can be adjusted (refer to the instructions supplied in the box).
Non-detection of fixed obstacles (towbar).
Detection distance adjustable from 70 to around 120 cm.
Possibility of reducing the sensitivity of the lateral sensors.
Audible alert: Buzzer up to a maximum of 74dB.
Maximum range: 1m - 1.2m (adjustable via the trimmer: SENS).
Power consumption: < 55 mA.
Operating temperature: -20°C to +80°C.
SALES STATEMENTS
For guarding the bumper against scratches and impacts.
Makes manoeuvring much easier as the driver does not have to turn round.
The system is compatible with all types of towbar.
The ultrasonic sensors match the bumper perfectly and discreetly.
The sensors can be painted to blend in with the bumpers.
The sealed connection preserves the system in perfect condition throughout its service life.
The diagnostic system contained in the sensors and their wiring warn you of any malfunction in the system.
The sensitivity of the sensors and the volume of the audible alert can be adjusted, so the owner is free to adapt the system to his own requirements.

Re: Towbar Wiring
Many thanks for the information. You’re right that my van didn’t have parking sensors from factory. Was looking to get the rear bumper cover with sensors, loom and ecu and adding it. I’ve had to change the bsi and that already is configured for parking assistance.

The bsi vin number is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
That should have factory parking sensors.
