Good afternoon.
Help required Please : )
I fixed the heater fan on our c5 2003 petrol estate a few years back.
The fan is running fine, but fairly recently the air flow is very low, it does not matter what settings any of the heater controls are at.
The cooling of the air con packed up a couple of years back, but we have not bothered with that.
If I recall correctly, a while back it would sometimes work better.
There was an odd piece of sponge strip, that appeared to come from the passenger side slot for the windscreen last week.
All I can find online is blower faults, but it is not that.
It is as if a flap is stuck.
Before I delve into it, has anyone had a similar problem and is it simple to get at and fix ?

First thing I would check is the cabin pollen filter before trying to dig into the a/c heater unit. A clogged cabin filter can severly affect inflow of air.

Thank you kindly for your reply : )
I have found a nice video on replacing the filter : )

If mine is clogged and there is no way of cleaning it, rather than fork out for a replacement I shall try it without : )
We survived well enough without them in the past
