Hi all. Im doing a rebuild on this 3 cylinder engine and was not that happy with the timing. After I turned the engine by hand a couple of times the cam and crank locking tools are suppose to be fitted again to confirm everything is correct. I put the crank pin in first but the cam locking tool wont. This is no suprise as the tool is a pig to fit with everything loose! But you can see that the flat tops of the cam are not perfectly lined up. If the exhaust cam is in the perfect position then the inlet cam is maybe a couple degrees out. Has anyone else experienced this?
Just spent a lot of money rebuilding this but mostly I dont wanna have to take this apart again lol.
