Today i was going to replace the MAF on my 90hp 307 but after i took the old one off i found what i think is excessive oil in the pipe, i must confess i don't know when i last checked it & someone else fitted this particular MAF meter so it hasn't been cleaned out recently and i know "some oil" is normal but i think this is too much. My thoughts are with the car having poor idle (particularly when cold) on start up & coughing out white smoke (unburnt fuel) could a failed compressor oil seal cause this by the way of excessive hydrocarbons getting into the air/fuel mixture & thus make it run poor.
For the record the rear of this cars engine has oil all over it but with no obvious reason. Part of my reasoning can be read in this thread - https://pmmonline.co.uk/technical/commo ... t-307-hdi/

Re: 307 excessive oil in air inlet pipe
It could be increased pressure in the oil feed, return or pcv system rule them out and you are looking at bad seals in the turbo. I would check all the others first then look at the turbo
