Has anyone used one of these...or similar?

I need a new 1/2 " TW and thought this would fit the bill nicely.
Cheers

Re: Torque Wrench Adapter
Interesting device Pete Never knew they existed...
My only worries are their bulk may prevent them from fitting in some tight spots and how robust are they?
One good use I can see for them is to check the calibration of a traditional one...

Yep, I'd never seen one before until I stumbled across it the other day and yes, it can check a conventional one and allow recalibration. Regarding access, straight extensions can be fitted either end. Cam belt tensioners and the like would be a no go but it would access most stuff. It's primarily for rebuilding the GPz11 engine.

Re: Torque Wrench Adapter
I have a similar one, and to be honest I rarely use it. It's far easier for me to grab the trusty old manual one off the shelf and dial that one in than open the box the electronic one sits in, put the batteries in, remember how to set it up, stick it on a suitable ratchet, then do up my nuts. I can absolutely see that the electronic one would be great on repeatable jobs or if you're going to use it intensively, but for occasioanl use I stick with the manual one.

My Britool one is going to go on Ebay soon. If I can raise the necessary enthusiasm to get past their form filling.

Re: Torque Wrench Adapter
I had a look on ebay and that range seem to be going in the £25-40 region which will make it worth the effort of filling in the form!! I'm after a much lower range higher accuracy one for my 2-10 ftlbs work!

I have one as well. Sadly underused nowadays.

That's why I'm selling it and most of my other tools, only used this for wheel nuts in recent years.
