Hi folks. My partner teepe 112bhp, 1.6hdi is throwing an injector fault on cyl 2. Code is p0265. I bought a recon injector from Germany £100, and put it in. Re-coded with my Launch pro, all good. 2 weeks later code back and thing is back into limp mode. I have tried checking the voltage at the injector plugs, but this gives a zero voltage reading on the multi-meter, therefore I must assume engine needs to be running before the ecu will supply a voltage.
Resistance readings on the other 3 are all 198k ohms, as was the recon unit from Germany when I bought it. Have pulled it back out and its resistance reading is now 3k ohms. My suspicion now is that the ecu is sending too high a voltage to the injector and frying it over a couple of weeks
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
