Hi,
I have already looked on the forum and most people want to switch to electric seats. I don't want to bother with that. I just want to upgrade to manual ones and am wondering if anyone had done it already to know that problems I might encounter.

I think my and your definition on an upgrade is different. It's common for boy racers to change seats with no issues as long as the mounting bracket is still the same. Only issue I can see is if you have pressure mount seat belt warning system installed

You will be lucky to find two front seats,, from an old X7, with the outer bolsters in good condition and supportive.

I think as long as your going backwards in technology it shouldn't be an issue as long as you have the correct mounting brackets

I've looked at a manual seat and it has so many wires (adding an img). Why is that?

Also connectors for airbag and seatbelt are completley different. Has anyone dealt with this before? Is it possible to rewire them?
