Hi guys!
I've a peugeot 508 2015 that is toying with my patience.
Basically, when I lock the car using the keyfob everything is working good, but when I try to unlock it (still using the keyfob) it will not give me any sign of life. Then I need to open the car manually and strangely the keyfob start to work.
I've tried various operation like BSI reset etc but they seems to work until I use the car, then the issue still the same.
Tried scanning for error using a ELM327 OBD but nothing where find. The curious thing happens when I try to read ECUs using Diagbox, this time I can only communicate with Voltage Retention Device (DMTS) Ecu, and when I try to read BSI it popups me "No dialogue".
Also, some months ago, each time I switch the car on a new error message appears in the little dashboard lcd screen: Electric device failure, please repair. Using the Bluetooth OBD I can read the error P0215(71) with seems that stands for: "Fuel shut-off solenoid - circuit malfunction" but the car is just fine and nothing seems changed.
Everything seems started after I installed a plug and play aftermarket autoradio (Junsun V1 Pro Android), but I don't understand in which way it is connected!
Thanks for any advice or help with this!

This is what's causing your problem, Just because the connector is the same as what is on the car does not mean its 'plug & play'. Needs to be removed & fitted correctly, the 'plug & play' harness may need some modifications for it to work correctly with the car.Sergione wrote: 10 Jun 2023, 17:10 Everything seems started after I installed a plug and play aftermarket autoradio (Junsun V1 Pro Android), but I don't understand in which way it is connected!

Thank you a lot @wheeler!!
And what kind of modifications can I do?
Can you give me some hints?
I mean, everything works perfectly "headunit" side, but something is wrong with the car, is the headunit causing all of this mess?
Thanks a lot x2!

You need to get the pinout diagram for your head unit and compare the function of each wire with the original wiring of the car. You may find that some pins are swapped, or have completely different purpose.
If you post the diagram of your head unit pinout ere, someone may be able to help.

Re: Peugeot 508 bsi going to sleep
Finally I found the issue here!
The s**t canbus box (the one with the aftermarket unit) was always on and drain battery, the car detect this and just goes to sleep. I've then created a contraption, using a relay, that just shut off the B+ line of the canbus box when the ignition is off!
