Sorry to be a pain but is Left facing the car or from inside the car as it's the drivers side I need? I would assume this is Left but I have ordered other parts for the drivers side which are listed as for the Right.

Left is nearside or in the UK on a RHD vehicle the passenger side.
Right is offside or in the UK on a RHD vehicle the driver side.

The rule of thumb is to stand at the rear of the vehicle to determine the left side and the right side for things.

Yes, the nearside, left side as if driver is sitting in the vehicle.

I've moved this into a new thread and out of parts.

The terms left side and right side are used to specifically to overcome the problems of using nearside and offside in an international market. As far as I know the "standing behind the car" viewpoint is used throughout the car industry.
