Hello,
My satnav in my Peugeot 308sw gtline (2016) intermittently looses connection to gps satellites causing the car to identify itself as being located nowhere near its actual location. Peugeot have suggested replacing the antenna amplifier at several hundred pounds. The car is fitted with the SMEG system I believe.
I think I have found suitable replacements on ebay (used) for around £30 but have no idea where the unit is actually found on the vehicle.
Does anyone know where the gps antenna amplifier is located as I can't find anywhere online that seems to know? Also any guides or advice regarding its replacement would be very much appreciated.

The actual GPS antenna is on the roof - as in the aerial base, so not sure what you have bought if it's not that obviously the same thing.
