Hi, I'm new to the forum and to Citroens so I have a few questions
At what mileage does Eolys need replacing.
Is mine Eolys or Adblue.

Yes I ask the stupid questions, because normally it is that simple.

They are 2 different things for 2 different systems.Certa wrote: 31 May 2023, 18:15 Hi, I'm new to the forum and to Citroens so I have a few questions

Adblue is nothing to do with the particulate filter. Adblue is a liuquid used for vehicles with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) systems and used to treat NOx emissions.
Eolys additive is for diesel vehicles with a DPF system that is added automatically to the fuel tanks when diesel is added to assist with particle filter regeneration.
To determine what system you have (and you may have both), I will need your VIN (please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff).
When the Eolys additive needs topping up depends on your driving conditions and mileage so there is no definitive answer.
Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.
