How to change rear sidelamp bulbs C5 Tourer 2010
I find that the instructions given on p. 174 in the Owner´s Manual for my Citroen C5 Tourer 2010 concerning how to change the sidelamp bulbs in the tailgate are unsatisfactory. At least I could not do it. After opening the trim door (which has no three clips as descibed in the manual) a plastic wing nut appears as well as a wiring harness. This gives no access to the bulbs! I have searched for a solution in the Internet witout success. Can anybody help me with this? Thank you and best regards.

Hi and welcome to the forum
Not 100% sure but if you unclip the wiring plug which i think will have a push tab somewhere on it should allow the removal of the entire lamp assembly once the wing nut is un done.
Once you have the lamp assembly out there are some tabs/tangs that hold the bulb holder in place.
Could be wrong as it i have in the past but think it could/should be similar to the saloon but being a Citroen you never know.

So you have the combined Stop and Sidelamp on the wing (1). This one has a locknut that holds the whole cluster onto the wing. Undoing it and the connectors allows the whole lamp assembly unit to be withdrawn away from the body.
For (2) which is on the tailgate, it's a bit more awkward and be careful as the plastic clips on the light unit once you have removed the trim are very brittle and if not careful can snap:

Yes I ask the stupid questions, because normally it is that simple.

Don't worry about it Colin, your description was correct enough as to enable the job to be done. If it makes you feel any better, I recently had to reply to one of my own posts with a retraction because I got the location of a hydraulic firmness regulator totally wrong

It turns out that there is an alternative location for the front firmness regulator, on a C5 X7 powered by a v6, the firmness regulator is where I said, behind the right-hand wheel arch liner, beside the washer bottle. However, on any C5 X7 powered by an inline 4 engine, it is located to the left of centre line at the back of the engine bay, as per this diagram that I recently seen on another thread which shows the location of the firmness regulator on an i4 C5:
Compared to a v6 powered C5's location:
So, yeah, I'm having to eat a bit of crow here, as I'd given out wrong advice, so it's just as well I stoned the crows at the start of the post then, isn't it?
Sorry for the confusion folks.

Thank you for your comments but there´s nothing in them that I didn´t know already. The illustrations shown here are from the Owners Manual and I simply cannot get them to fit with the real thing in my car. Reynir.

Put a photo up here (use the full post editor and then the file attachments button to browse for a picture) so we can see the part you are having issues with. This is the way it is done, so it may be a little tight where the clips are to get access to the bulb.
