I am the proud owner of a 2001 DW8 engined C15 with a mere 63k. The clutch makes a squeak (eeeek sound - like something is dry) when depressed. The clutch cable, pedal (checked today for travel length) and all linkages appears fine. The clutch and gearbox operate fine too. When standing at the engine or laying underneath as someone operates the clutch it so sounds like the noise is coming from the gearbox itself. Could this indicate a dry/worn clutch release bearing?
