I'm scouring the internet but can't seem to find anyone getting around this one yet.
So I have a Rifter 2022 with Nac wave 2 (at least I think I do from the forums I've seen up so far - 3d nav sat and Android/Apple) and am annoyed by the fact that it has only one USB port capable of Android/Apple connection while the other is only for charging. Since all my music is on a USB key I installed a second one to the empty port on back of my infotainment system. Of course I did not check the engineering mode before only to later found out I don't have the one needed to set usb hub on. So the system opens as "expert mode" where you can only access some spylogs and information about systems, but have nothing in ways of changing the settings themselves. Codes like 1111, 1122, 1141... only display information and I can't find anything more regarding actually doing some changes to the way the system works like enabling the usb hub for example.
Is it even possible to do this?

Re: Rifter secondary USB
I have a Wave 2 in My Aircross and have fitted a secondary USB port and cable that utilises the spare USB port at the back of the NAC.
I wanted to have all my FLAC music files played from the USB Stick and continue to use CarPlay for other applications.
All detailed in my blog here:

I had no need to configure anything. You cannot use a USB Hub for connecting CarPlay and then use another port for USB music as CarPlay takes control of the Hub when connected.
This way I have one USB in the Glovebox for my 128Gb USB memory stick and CarPlay on the other USB port in the centre console.

Re: Rifter secondary USB
Hi
Thank you for the reply. I went back to the car afterwards and figured I used the wrong port for the cable. I don't have 2 blue USB ports but I used the green one fore SOS which I don't have and after the usb was detected normally.
