DS3 charging issues

Unread post by AceB »

My DS3 stop charging after a month of driving, it was working beautiful and then when I plug it in it flash green starts to charge and then stop and the dash board says its fully charged but I only have 10% battery left.
I changed the charger and that did not work. everything else on the car works.
It retries to start charging twice before it goes full red and shut off.

Assuming you're using the correct charger for the output type, then a red fixed light would suggest a malfunction. In this case it would need a specialist like DS Automobiles to look at it.

Yes a red fault light is the end result.
It will have to be done remotely as no DS Auto in my area.
Can you recommend a remote operator? we have a Diagnostic tool that can be accessed online.

If it's that new then surely the car is still under warranty?

What error messages does the diagnostic give? Give the codes as well as the description.

It is connected to the negative battery terminal wiring, just before the clamp.
