Front bumper removal

Unread post by darklordmick »

Has any one taken the front bumper off their ds7 ?
Maybe for bulbs etc

Wondering how easy it is ?

I’ve searched the net but can’t find anything. In fact any info on the ds7 is scarce

If you have a model with full LEDs, then there's no bulbs to replace - the whole module has to be replaced.

If you have an earlier model with halogens, then you can change these from within the engine bay. The secondary lighting units can be accessed via the towing eye using a torx screwdriver - it's all in your owner manual and depends on what lighting you have.

Got led . But I want to maybe remove the bumper if I have to but would rather not as I want to change the chrome by the grille for black …

If I can axs and remove with out doing so it’s a massive bonus but thought I’d ask on here in case I have to remove it

Drive too close to the car in front on a wet road, that'll do it. :-D

Under the text box click the "Full Editor And Preview" tab.
Then under that text box click the "Attachments" tab and on that, click the "Add Files" button and search your drive for the image(es) you want.
As each one is clicked it will appear at the foot of the text box. There is a space for a descriptor if required.
Place your cursor where you want the image to appear and then click the "Place Image Inline" button.
Do this for each image.

You can also drag and drop images into the text box that is in the "Attachments" mode.

Preview the post to see if it meets your approval, also click on the images as some taken on mobile phones 'fall over' and need editing and re-saving/re-downloading from your device.
