Speedbuster

A friend has fitted a speedbuster tuning device to his car, a 110 hdi. The difference is very noticeable with the car now feeling very eager and much more responsive.
Anyone any opinions on these devices, are they better or worse than the others put there?? Are they safe to use, thinking of trying one myself.

You can call me a silly old sod - but if so much more can be SAFELY squeezed out of the engine, why didn't PSA engine designers do it in the first place.

Because they don't want to be sued by people driving on low grade diesel in former Soviet republics when the engine gives up in disgust.
If you run on good quality diesel you can easily extract at least 20%, probably a lot more power/torque with no risk of damage. Why do you think VW has upped the output of their 1.9 to 150 hp? Because people were extracting 180 hp with no trouble at all and that makes 110 hp look pretty stupid!
