C5 rear suspension problem

Unread post by Amarra »

Hello,
I have a problem with my C5 (2010 3.0 v6 hdi) rear suspension.
Car rear end won't rise .
The rear hydraulic valve have been already disassembled , cleaned and reassembled ,but it seems like the oil won't even reach it.
Any ideas what can cause this?
The front end raises and lowers fine.

What about the height sensors on the rear wheels? Have you checked these are operating ok? Have you had it on Lexia / Diagbox for a diagnostic? That's your best bet as there are lots of tests you can run on the system to see if the valves are functioning or if there's a fault on the sensors or the BHI as examples.

The other possibility is a leaking suspension pipe at the rear, so check for any fluid leaks.

It had a lot of error codes , but the battery was dead so i thought most of them was from there.
Tried to engage the valve with diag tool but no luck.
There wasn't even a sound from the the valve.
Front works fine but the rear won't raise.
There was a leaky front left ram ,but it got replaced.
I asked a Citroen service and they also thought that could be the problem ,but it wasn't.

Have you tried to move rear end sensor arm? I had a problem that rear suspension was too high and rock hard. It was the rear sensor arm that was totally off from original position. That clamp around the rear anti roll bar.

Sami - he has a V6 3.0. These don't have height sensors on the front and rear axles. They have height sensors on each of the 4 wheel corners.
