Berlingo plastic fuel tank

OK, looking to replace my diesel fuel tank, 2006 1.6 hdi Berlingo Multispace. Citroen gave me a part no. of '1500FG' for this obsolete part for my vehicle, but this part no. doesnt seem to relate to anything on ebay etc.
Does anyone know if the 1.9/2.0 diesel tanks are the same as my 1.6? Citroen couldnt tell me unless i had the reg nos.

Has anyone had a successful reliable diesel plastic fuel tank repair? Mine has a 10mm hole.

Also the plastic clips/screws securing the heat shield to the tank are also unavailable, has anyone found an alternative source for these please?

The DV6ATED4 engine has a different part number to the older vehicle (DW8B), so unlikely to fit / connect, and this part is no longer available as the vehicle is 17 years old now, so unless you can source one on the second hand market, it may be time to replace it as this is going to become more of an issue for non-service parts like this.

I see you've already posted on the Berlingo Forum about this, so at least you have put the 'feelers' out.

Ta for reply, no replies from other forum so i guess its an uncommon subject. I thought possibly the same bodied cars might have identical tanks with different pumps but it seems thats not the case.
Will keep an eye out if anyone has done a plastic tank repair & keep a lookout for a replacement tank, I wont be replacing the vehicle just because someone drilled a hole in it..
