Hi,
I'm new to the forum and this is my first post. I am hoping someone can help me. I have a 2007 206 1.4i. My radiator fan comes on at high speed but everywhere I have read there should be an earlier low speed mode. I checked the front of the car but there are no relays or resistors and I can't see anything obvious anywhere else.
Does anyone know if some models only have the one speed fan and can anyone help me with a wiring diagram ( can supply the vin if it helps ).
Thank you for any help.
Andy

I'll need your VIN to determine what system you have fitted (please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff).

You missed out an 'F' 6th character, but I have it now...
Ok so your vehicle has only one fan and one speed. Best if you can get it diagnosed and pop the fault codes up.

Ahhh sorry. Never rely on copy and paste I think is the moral of the story. Thank you so much for working out my mistake and checking that for me. There are no error codes thankfully. I was just a bit confused as everything I googled suggested a two speed fan and a subsequent issue with the resistor and relay wiring .... I am not massively familiar with Peugeots so lesson learnt. I have just changed the head after a timing problem so wanted to make sure the cooling systems were working as they should which it is as the fan kicks in at the right temp. Again thank you for such amazing support on my first day on the forum. Hope I can help someone in the future

Yes your vehicle is shown as having a 1 FAN 1-SPEED 20W AERO system and don't forget you don't have Air Conditioning on this vehicle. Vehicles with A/C have at least 2 speeds, the first speed which kicks in when the A/C compressor is switched on when A/C is activated in order to assist with cooling the condenser radiator. The second speed is usually activated to assist with engine cooling when temperatures are high or in bumper to bumper traffic.
As you only have a 1.4 and no A/C, the single & speed fan is adequate along with the cooling system for the job.
