Not sure if this is the right section but asking for my neighbour.
Looking for info on the handbrake mounting assembly inside the cabin. Had a quick look and it appears that one of the locating plastic holes has broken and now the whole assembly moves when pulling the hand brake lever. The cables are held securely and the threaded screw rod seem fine.
I am assuming that the nuts are captive so the bolts screw into them without the need for getting it on a ramp.
Didn't have my phone with me at the time but the broken hole is forward of the housing on the drivers seat ( RHD ) the remaining intact one is to the rear on the passenger side.
Could i possibly ask for a diagram of a similar age Berlingo/ Partner just so i can help him to work out how to replace it without him spending lots of cash
Thanks in advance
Colin

Berlingo/partner is not the same vehicle until last year, 2023 model.
Previous Doblo is entirely Fiat ( Also available as the Opel/Vauxhall Combo)
