Peugeot 508 RXH HYBRID 4 P1ABF
Good evening everyone
I have issue with my hybrid system, the clutch on electric engine is not engaging so I have replaced the whole engine and diff with another working one but it’s still throwing this code P1ABF. I don’t know where else can I look so if someone can help me I would very appreciate that. Thanks

So I had the whole thing replaced sourced from donor car and I could see it working before, now I’m wondering what is the electric traction machine? I will scan the car tomorrow again and see if there are any other faults. Is there a procedure to calibrate the lot after replacement was done? I spoke to someone today who told me that this fault can also occur if the vacuum pump is not working properly but I don’t know if that’s true. Thanks

7800 : ESP ECU
1920 : low temperature coolant pump
1917 : front electric machine
1918 : rear electric machine
6704 : hybrid rear reducer
1760 : battery HT+ battery status supervisor
1036 : converter power supply protection fuse

Hi please help I’m have problem with my Peugeot 508 rxh hybrid 4. When I’m start drive only electric motor, driving fine but when I’m drop acceleration and start charging battery rear wheels. throws errors

So it probably needs some specialist investigation. The ECU on some models can be replaced (They are a little under £3k or a new battery itself with the ECU is about £6.5k).

The diagnostics shows error P1ABE.
The issue is that the car sometimes suddenly jerks. This happens both when the car is in electric mode and in 4WD mode. For example, when you start moving from a traffic light, the jerk occurs, the diesel engine starts, and you continue driving as usual. Sometimes, when you're in electric mode, the jerk occurs, and the car feels like it's in neutral for about 2 seconds before returning to normal in electric mode. It's quite peculiar because on some days, it happens a few times, while on others, it occurs every time you're in electric mode. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
