power ignition live

hi hi am looking for an live feed for a camera in the boot area of my c1 2016 only live when ignition is on ,,thanks

I don't recommend you wire or splice into any of the wiring or you could end up affecting the other systems, especially with modern multiplexed wiring.

The best solution is to wire it back into the passenger compartment fusebox under the boot lining, through the rear compartment carpet side trim, through to the passenger side well trim, up into the fuse box usually via the end of dashboard trim. From there, select an ignition-switched fuse of suitable amps for your device and use a piggy 'back fuse'. You can use a lower rated fuse suitable for your connected equipment in the piggy back connector.

(NEVER route wires via the top side trim of the headlining if you have a curtain airbag! If the wiring becomes loose or insecure and you have an accident the wires will shoot out with the explosive force of the airbag like cheese wire with the inevitable consequences...).
